Position Details: 


SUMMARY: The Director of Human Resources is to perform a variety of specialized and confidential duties related to the employment and credentialing of the District’s certificated and support staff personnel; assuring compliance with applicable laws, codes, rules, regulations, and master agreements.  Application Deadline:  Friday, April 12, 2019.

REPORTS TO:  Reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools.


  1. Master’s Degree in Business Administration specializing in Human Resource Management or Master’s Degree in Education Administration specializing in Human Resource Management.
  2. Demonstrated successfully experience (minimum five (5) years) in Human Resources in a corporate or school district environment.
  3. Valid Michigan School Administrator Certificate with Central Office endorsement.
  4. Ability to assume responsibilities with demonstrated accuracy and fluency in employment and educational laws/regulations.
  5. Ability to express complex ideas with clarity and precision orally and in writing.
  6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and tasks simultaneously.
  7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate.


  1. This is a full-year, salary exempt position beginning July 1, 2019.
  2. Excellent salary and benefit package (beginning salary range, $75,000 + depending upon experience/qualifications).
  3. Performance to be evaluated annually by the Superintendent of Schools.
