$38,000 to $50,000 annually / Exempt position / 12-month work year

This position is grant funded and continuation is contingent upon continued funding.

You will facilitate the delivery of services and planning for the transition to community for students discharged from Children’s Village.



We are seeking an energetic, organized team member to serve as a facilitator for the delivery of services and planning for the transition to community for students discharged from Children’s Village. Your initiative, attention to detail, and expertise with coordinating projects, programs, and teams; responding to crisis situations; preparing and submitting ancillary documentation; and collaborating across disciplines will be key in our efforts to deliver services and transition planning for students being discharged from Children’s Village. You will serve as a resource and support to Oakland Schools’ staff, students and family members, school staff, Children’s Village, and government and community agencies.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required.
  • Two years of related experience including direct child and family work or child welfare.
  • Experience working with juvenile reentry programs preferred.
  • Valid Licensed Social Worker (LBSW, BSW, LMSW, MSW), or valid Licensed Psychologist preferred.
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in detailed record keeping and report writing.
  • Ability to facilitate small and large group meetings and to coordinate/plan programs, projects, and teams.
  • Solid understanding of formal systems such as DHHS, Court, juvenile reentry, and mental health.



Salary Range of $38,000 to $50,000 annually.

This position is grant funded and continuation is contingent upon continued funding.
